We chose the Sea Dell for 4 days in Marathon because of previous reviews. It is what is called "old style Keys." It is an older property but very well kept; the grounds are nicely landscaped, there is a tropical mural on one wall as you drive in. The location is perfect for visiting Bahia Honda or Long Key State.

If I would see a bad review of this motel I would not believe a word. We spent eleven days road touring Florida on our bikes and without any doubt this was the very best stay. Excellent service, very clean rooms, groomed grounds with large tables and a grills if you chose to cook for yourself.

My husband and I left Michigan not knowing where we'd stay or without making any prior reservations. We happened upon the Sea Dell Motel In Marathon Key. What a wonderful place! Walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and other shops and only a short drive to other superb dining places and a public beach.
